Two summers ago, I lived alone and subletted an apartment in Nolita that had four channels on the television- one of them being the food network. Anytime I was home alone, I had top chef or chopped on in the background. This sadly didn’t directly translate to an increased cooking ability (I have actually burned eggs) , but rather my love for going out to eat and trying new restaurants.
