Fall Style

NYFW Day 1

This September is my first spent in NYC–which means I was able to venture to the Lincoln Center to explore fashion week for spring/summer 2015! I was elated to meet so many individuals who are inspired by the fashion industry, especially at the community of bloggers in attendance. One of my best friends says, “There’s a place for everyone in New York City…”  and NYFW really makes me echo that sentiment…there’s a place for everyone’s varying style , and it was refreshing to see so many different takes on current trends throughout the week.

And onto this outfit…H&M released their fall 2014 studio collection on Sept. 4, coordinating with the beginning of fashion week. AND the clothes are GORG! At a slightly steeper price than we typically see from H&M, the pieces seem to have a higher quality and mimimic runways trends from the fall 2014 shows. I lovedddd this skirt and shirt as soon as I saw them in store–both have exposured back zippers and will be really versatile when it starts to get colder.

What I’m wearing:

Skirt: H&M ( in stores, similar)

Shirt: H&M

Necklace: Jcrew

Purse: Rebecca Minkoff

Shades: Kate Spade

Shoes: Vince Camuto
